So my family loves Halloween, and if you don't know, I started as a vlogger.  I thought I'd share with you the videos I have for Halloween.

Haunted House:
Every year we do a haunted house, unfortunately I don't get these videos up until after Halloween but here are a couple we've done.

    1. Coool - you must have gotten a lot of candy for your birthday when you were a kid. Thanks for the share :)

  2. What great fun! I love that there are still folks who celebrate Halloween! Seems in recent years, I have gotten no trick or treaters at my house! All the worries for the safety of the children seemed to have moved the celebrations to house or school parties. Loved the videos! Thanks for posting them

    1. Oh my goodness, this neighborhood goes all out. There are trick-n-treaters every where. It's something out of a Peanuts Halloween Special. And the neighbors have mini haunted houses in their garages. It's very cool.

    1. Yes, origami is fun. I've heard that it helps with math skills, I don't know how though I guess it get's you're mind thinking about shapes and how things fit.

  4. I still like dressing up for Halloween so that's as crafty as I get this time of year.

    1. I don't often except simple costumes, one year I put smarties on my pants and called myself a smarty pants. But usually I'm so busy with the haunted house, I don't have time to think up a costume.

  10. Fun ideas! Any recommendations for pumpkin carving?

    1. I am not a big pumpkin carver - I find it messy and they rot very fast as soon as you carve them. When I did carve it was the day before we would have the party or the day before Halloween. And if we used a candle, well then it would only last the night. I like just pumpkins, they're pretty untouched. I forget which channel but I believe they have pumpkin carving wars on some cable channel (the same one as cupcake wars).

  11. Halloween can be such a fun holiday for kids and adults alike! I love the "Smarty Pants" costume idea! I've also seen paper hands traced then cut out...pairs of hands safety pinned to the front of you. Only in costume if you're standing up........a standing ovation! I love clever costumes, especially for adults!

  13. Those cupcakes look terrifyingly delicious! My family wasn't too big on Halloween, they let me dress up and trick n' treat and stuff....but I think for religious reasons kept it toned down. In fact, I know some families who won't let their children dress up or trick n' treat.

    1. and they were :) Yes it wasn't until I was older that I realized that some families did not celebrate because of religion. I personally think if you can recognize the bad in the world and laugh and have fun with it, it helps with dealing with the truly bad stuff in the world.

    1. It actually depends where you go, our neighborhood has lots of fun with it. Some areas consider it the devil's holiday and will have nothing to do with, however I think they are in the minority.
